MelitziaTaverna, Tala.

After the usual roll up on Sunday morning at the club premises in Emba, twenty seven members headed up to the Melitzia Taverna in Tala for our Annual Presentation of prizes for the 2012 season.

The Sunday lunch took the form of a delicious Cyprus meze and this was followed by the prize-giving. Our guests for the day were Chris Parry from 3D Global, and his wife Tricia. 3D Global, sponsor the Cyprus Short Mat Tens League as well as a number of individual club competitions, and Chris was on hand today to present the prizes to the winners and runners-up.

There was also a special presentation to Pat & Ronnie Strachan, stalwarts of the Shogun group, who are returning to the UK at the end of this month. They were presented with flowers and some mementos by Catherine Allison and Janet McLean on behalf of the group members. They will be sorely missed by all and we wish them all the best for the future.

Tricia Parry was also presented with a bouquet, and Chris a bottle of wine, as a thank you for making the effort to join us and  presenting the prizes.
